MTA Rider Tools

Service Status

All transit modes provided by MTA will have their service status provided to riders via the side bar shown on the left side of the website. The status block will show if the transit modes are "on time," have a "minor delay," a "major delay," or currently have no service. Each transit mode will also additional information shown as cursor is placed on the alert block.

Trip Planner

The Maryland Transit Administration's Trip Planner allows for the planning for trips using any of the MTA's transit services. This includes CityLink, LocalLink, Commuter Bus, MARC Train, Light RailLink, and the Metro SubwayLink. Additionally, it will also always be accessible site-wide, in the side bar shown on the left side of the website. 

Mobile Website and Services

Several of MTA's services and tools have been modified to work seamlessly with your WPA enabled mobile device. These services include: Trip Planner, Service Status, Service Alerts, Elevator/Escalator Outages, the Pass Store, and MTA Contact Information.

Elevator and Escalator Status

Providing status information, including outages, the Elevator and Escalator Status page will also give times of service and maintenance at every Metro Subway stop. Check Elevator and Escalator Status.

Contact Mobility

If you have comments or questions directly related to MTA MobilityLink, you can fill out a Customer Service Report by going to our Mobility Comments Page. Additionally, if you want to book a Mobility reservation, call 410-764-8181 and press 1. If you have a Taxi Access II question or complaint, call MJM Innovations at 410-664-2030.

Lost and Found

The Maryland Transit Administration's Lost and Found tool is a searchable database of current items found. You also have the option of directly contacting the division of Lost and Found that handles the transportation mode you were using.
